The ‘Sansevieria Trifasciata’ is a popular house plant for it’s modern appearance, hardiness and air-purifying qualities. The “Snake Plant” or “Mother-in-Laws Tongue” as it’s also known, grows bunches of sturdy, broad leaves, sometimes with a variegated tiger-print like pattern.
These are super tough plants. Allow to dry out in between watering in the winter months and water more regularly in summer. Don’t worry if you’re going on holiday, they don’t mind a bit of neglect. They’re happy in most light conditions – just keep it out of direct sunlight.
