We take the stress out of house plant delivery by handling it it all ourselves. You don’t need to worry that your lovely new plant will be thrown around the back of a van on left outside in the rain because every plant delivery is completed by one of the Little Green team.
We’re handling deliveries a little differently at the moment while we’re transitioning out of lockdown. Hopefully you’ll find all the information you’re looking for below but if you do have any question, please drop us a message.
Where does Little Green deliver to?
We’re currently offer delivery to the BS1, BS2, BS3, BS4, BS5, BS6, BS7, BS8 and BS13 postcode areas. We can also offer Extended Delivery to other Bristol postcodes but this isn’t available directly through our website. Please contact us with you full postcode to find out if we can deliver to you.

How much does plant delivery cost?
Delivery to BS1, BS2, BS4, BS5, BS6, BS7, BS8 and BS13 is £5 per order. Extended Delivery to other Bristol postcodes can be arranged on an ad-hoc basis (see above) for £8. Delivery to BS3 is free.
When will my order be delivered?
Most orders are delivered within a few days. Some are even delivered the same day if you’re nearby or we have another delivery in the area already. If you’d like us to deliver your order on a certain day, please see below.
Can you deliver a plant on a specific day for a birthday, anniversary, etc.?
Almost certainly, yes. On the checkout page there’s a box where you can add notes or instructions for us – be sure to mention it in there. If you’d like to double-check before your order, please contact us… Also, kudos to you on your outstanding gift-buying skills 🙂
What does “On back-order” mean?
If a plant is marked as ‘On back-order’, that means we don’t have any in stock right now but can get one from one of our growers. For this reason, delivery might take a little longer. We’ll email you once we’ve gotten hold of the plant and it’s ready for delivery.
Do you deliver by bike?
Yes, most of our plant deliveries are done by bike. We do occasionally and begrudgingly have to use other means, like if the plant’s so big it couldn’t be carried safely by bike.
Do you deliver plants and compost outside of Bristol?
Sorry, at the moment we only deliver plants and compost within the Bristol postcode area. We’re looking for a safe way to send plants further without using too much packaging and hope to offer this in the future.
We previously offered compost delivery outside Bristol but unfortunately delivery rates have become too expensive so we’ve had to stop that for now.
Can I order from outside of Bristol and send it to someone in Bristol?
Absolutely! When you get to the Checkout page, just enter your address in the ‘Billing Details’ section, then check the ‘Deliver to a different address’ box and enter the recipient’s details below.
How about gift vouchers and greetings cards?
Gift vouchers and greetings card are sent via Royal Mail, unless ordered along with a plant. 1st or 2nd class delivery options are available. They will be posted within one working day and are then subject to the usual Royal Mail delivery times.
If you’re sending a gift voucher to somebody outside of Bristol, please remember that they’ll only be able to make use of the voucher if they live in our delivery area or can visit one of our markets.
Can I add a note/message to my order?
We offer a range of beautiful greetings cards that we can deliver, including a personal message, along with your order.
Are prices shown on the delivery slip?
No. The delivery slip only shows the names of the items, the delivery address and the billing address. Prices are not shown, so if you’re buying a gift you don’t need to worry about the recipient seeing any prices.
Can I collect my plant from you instead?
Yes, on the checkout page you can choose to collect your order from our next market.
If we have one scheduled, it will be available as a shipping option on the Checkout page. If the collection option isn’t available, that means we don’t currently have a market scheduled or we aren’t able to offer collection for that particular market.
There’s no charge for arranging collection.
