Little Green is an independent house plant business run by Lauren and Paul in vibrant South Bristol.
Lauren and Paul both gave-up fulfilling but often stressful careers in nursing about two decades ago. Lauren took-up illustration full-time and continues to create beautiful children’s books. Paul retired for about five minutes before embarking on a PhD, earning him his “Dr. T” moniker.
Little Green was born out of a shared passion for plants and the environment. As environmental activists, Lauren and Paul wanted to run their business in an ethical and environmentally sustainable way. From day one, Little Green only ever used peat-free compost and no single-use plastics.
Little Green attended their first market in 2017 and since then, has attended hundreds more. It now has a weekly pitch at the Tobacco Factory Market.
